This kid should run for president, he carried this entire movie. I imagine that he is awesome because of the awesome parents that named him not only Max but Max Records. The casting process for this character was either the most difficult thing in the world or the most simple. There is something special about certain child actors that only innocence and the open mind of a child can produce, and when it happens it’s nothing less than magical.. like Henry Thomas in ET or River Phoenix in Stand By ME actually the whole cast for that matter or Natalie portman in The Professional or Barret Oliver in The Never Ending Story or Joey Cramer in Flight Of The Navigator.. the list goes on. One thing that I love about this kid is that when you see him in interviews you can tell that he is enjoying being a kid & isn’t trying so hard to be a grown-up. Max has already made history with his first feature & will inspire millions of kids & adults around the world..even if he never does another movie.
